About Us

Founded by Neeraj Kumar, Aubhik Nath, Ekta Verma, and Vishal Mohan, Silvine Game Studios is an independent developer based in Bangalore, India. After shipping Asura: Vengeance Edition for a previous studio (Ogre Head Studio), the team got together once again to work on what would eventually become Artifice: War Tactics. Seeking to forge memorable experiences that would someday inspire others to follow their passion, Silvine Game Studios is just getting started!

Neeraj Kumar

Neeraj Kumar

Founder / Lead Developer

Neeraj spent his childhood obsessed with playing Arcade, NES & PC games like Contra, Double Dragon, Counter-Strike, etc. The game which stuck with him the most and inspired him to join the gaming industry was the Half-life series. He started his career alongside his college friend “Aubhik” at Gameshastra. With over 13+ years of experience in the industry, he worked on game genres ranging from casual to hardcore on PC and mobile platforms. He co-founded an indie studio called "Ogre head Studio", wherein he developed & shipped Asura: Vengeance Edition (Steam), a hack and slash rogue-like game with an innovative skill tree system. The game since then has gained global recognition and success. Apart from this, he has worked with external clients from Dubai on service projects related to game development and also prototyped various concepts including Casual, Arcade and even RTS games.

Aubhik Nath

Aubhik Nath

Co-Founder / Lead Designer

Aubhik is a seasoned designer with an experience of 13+ years in the Indian game industry. Even though he spent a lot of hours playing RTS and RPG games like Warcraft 3, Diablo 2 and Commandos during his childhood, surprisingly it was the Lord of the Rings trilogy that really inspired him to become a game “writer” (he had no idea back then about a certain specialization called game design). He started his career at Gameshastra working on PSP games but eventually transitioned to mobile titles. Eventually, he joined forces with his ex-colleagues and co-founded an indie studio known as “Ogre Head Studio” where they worked on Asura: Vengeance Edition, a hack and slash rogue-like game with an innovative skill tree system. The game was released on Steam and garnered awards both locally as well as internationally. From there he moved back to working on mobile games for a time during which he worked on Food Truck Chef, a time management restaurant game for Android and iOS. The game went on to get featured on Google play and was considered as one of the Best games of 2017.

Favorite Games: Warcraft 3 (PC), Starcraft (PC), Diablo 2 (PC), Defense of the Ancients (PC), Soulsborne series (PS), XCOM (PC), Witcher 3 (PC)

Ekta Verma

Ekta Neeraj Verma

Co-Founder / Studio Support

Ekta was always fascinated by games in her childhood like Super Mario Brothers, Contra, and Tomb Raider among others but it remained mostly as a hobby. She started her career at IBM, where she worked as a QA specialist for almost 6 years. Following which she ventured into the handicraft creative space with her own startup known as “The Krafty Store”. It was at this time that she started playing games again and her interest in it had rekindled. Eventually once Silvine Game Studios® was up and running, there was a need for someone who could provide QA as well as managerial support. And so with her years of experience in QA, she had fit right in and now has become a valuable asset to the company.

Favorite Games: Until Dawn (PS), Mario Kart 8 (NS), Overcooked 1 & 2 (PC), Fall Guys (PC)

Vishal Mohan

Vishal Mohan

Co-Founder / Lead Developer

Vishal's fascination towards games started when he got his first-ever handheld console as a birthday present and he heard the SFX of Tetris through the wrapping paper. He grew up on games like Duck Hunt, Mario, Claw, Road Rash, NFS, and GTA. Even though he calls Assassin's Creed 2 as his most memorable experience, the game that inspired him to build games was Aion. He has always been passionate towards games, but he never thought that he could ever make a career out of it, so he took up an IT job, following the other love of his life "programming". Having spent 3 years of his life in the virtual world of Aion by then, he quickly realized that a regular IT job is not what he wanted to do with his life. He took it upon himself to learn Game Dev on his own and become a Game Programmer. He has worked on games like Cric Wars, School of Dragons, Legends and Letters, and various others.

Favorite Games: Assassin's Creed Franchise (PC), Aion (PC), Guild Wars 2 (PC), Overwatch (PC), Sekiro (PC), NFS Underground 2 (PC)
